More than a breakup album, 4U is an immersive listening experience that transforms heartbreak into transformation. On November 16th, Lyd Marie will share her sophomore self produced album 4U in its entirety for the first time in the city that inspired the album. The listening will be followed by a live performance and conversation/talk-back facilitated by Quentin. Join us at Waterloo records from 4-6 pm for this intimate and moving experience about the power of music to move through grief and loss.

Lyd Marie is a Brooklyn-based songwriter, percussionist, and producer with roots in Austin, TX. A co-founder of the global folk group Ley Line, she has spent the past decade blending her background in world music, sound design, and storytelling into her solo work. She describes her genre as “Sade-Americana.”
